Share the Wealth With Joe The Plumber, Welfare Queen

So Joe The Plumber, the guy who isn't named Joe (it's his middle name) and isn't a licensed plumber admits he and his family have been on welfare. A couple of times. 

Joe:  " I once was on welfare, My parents twice!"

We are so very glad that someone was there to help Joe when he needed the help.  The question is why doesn't he want others to share the same wealth when they are in trouble too?
