The Two Moons Hoax e-mail

Have you received this e-mail which claims August 27 2010 will bring 'the closest encounter between Mars and Earth in recorded history.' Supposedly it will look as though there are two moons in the night sky. Here's an example:

Dear all,

Look to the sky and you will see two moons on August 27th 2010.

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles off earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 @ 11:00 PM (UAE Local Time). It will look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287!

The problem is the same e-mail has been circulating since 2003, when Mars and the Earth were very close, it did burn bright in the sky, though not as bright as the moon.
